Customer notifications are emails sent to buyers to confirm their order and provide them with important information regarding its progress.
The email address provided by the customer when placing the order will be used to send these notifications.
Customer notifications are sent from the email address media@mywebselfsite.net.
These are the order notifications sent to customers:
1. Orders paid for online, requiring shipping.
- Order placed and paid: the order has been received, but is not yet being prepared.
- Order being fulfilled: the order is being filled with the ordered products.
- Order shipped: the order has been shipped via the chosen delivery service.
- Order delivered: the order has been delivered.
- Order cancelled: if the order was cancelled before being shipped.
- Order refunded: if following the cancellation, the order has been refunded.

2. Orders paid for online and picked up in-store.
- Order placed and paid: the order has been received, but is not yet being prepared.
- Order being fulfilled: the order is being filled out with the ordered products.
- Order ready for pickup: the order has been placed and is ready for in-store pickup.
- Order delivered: the order has been picked up in-store.
- Order cancelled: if the order was cancelled after being placed.
- Order refunded: if following the cancellation, the order has been refunded.

3. Orders paid for on-site and picked up in-store.
- Order placed: the order has been received, but is not yet being prepared.
- Order being fulfilled: the order is being filled with the ordered products.
- Order ready for pickup: the order has been placed and is ready for in-store pickup.
- Order delivered: the order has been picked up in-store.
- Order cancelled: if the order was cancelled after being placed.
- Order refunded: if following the cancellation, the order has been refunded.

IMPORTANT:
When an order is paid online or on-site and does NOT require shipping, to inform your customer that their order is ready for pickup, you must simulate product shipping.
To simulate product shipping for an order:
- From your store's admin, go to Store → Orders.
- Double-click on the corresponding order line.
- In the Unshipped Items section of the order, click the three-dot icon on the right, then click Fulfill Items.
- An email notification will be sent to your customer informing them that their order is ready for pickup.

4. Product Exchange requiring shipping or picked up in-store.

Product exchange: The product being exchanged has been received. The exchange has been processed.
When creating an exchange, please activate the "Send notification" button to inform your customer of the exchange status.
5. Product Return requiring shipping or in-store picked up.

Product return: The product(s) being returned have been received. The return has been processed.
When creating the return, please activate the "Send notification" button to inform your customer of the return status.
