When creating a new product, you will be able to indicate its details in the following sections: General, Options, Variants, Organization, and Attributes.
To create a new product:
- From your store's admin, go to Store → Products.
- Click Create.
General
Title: Provide a unique and distinctive name for the product you wish to offer.
Subtitle (Optional): or short descriptions, are a great way to provide additional information about a product, whether to highlight its benefits, specific features, or ingredients.
ID (Optional): This is used to reference the product in your storefront, equivalent to the URL. If not specified, the ID will be generated from the product title.
To create the identifier, be sure to enter hyphens between words and avoid accents. For example, if your product title is Winter jacket, and you want to highlight its material, you could enter: winter-jacket-cotton-bio.
Description (Optional): Write a complete and detailed description of the product. This is an opportunity to explain its features, benefits, and any other relevant details.
Media (Optional): Upload high-quality images to showcase your product. Attractive images play a key role in customers' purchasing decisions. The current image format is square.
NOTE:
The current Media format is square. Please ensure sufficient margins around the product to maximize its display.
- If your product does not offer options or variants:
In the Variants section, a default variant will automatically appear.
Note:
If the image doesn't display when you upload it to your product, please follow the four steps below to correct the problem.
- Upload your image.
- Hover over the image that appears. A checkbox will appear in the upper right corner; select it.
- Select the "Make Thumbnail" option that appears at the bottom.
- Save.
You can follow these same steps to add an image to products that are already configured but whose image isn't displaying.
- Once the image is displayed, click Continue and choose the Product Category and Type.
- Click Continue
- Click Continue.
- Enter the SKU (if applicable).
- The Managed Inventory box is checked by default. If it is not the case, enable it; this action is mandatory. Without it, you will not be able to activate either your warehouse location or the quantity of items in stock.
- Enter the product Price according to the currencies configured in your store.
- Click Publish.
- If your product offers different options, you can create variants:
- Enable the "Yes, this is a product with variants" option.
Product variants
Variants are combinations of specific options (such as size, color, material, etc.) available for that particular product. Variants will be created automatically based on the product options.

Product options
You can add options to each product, allowing customers to choose exactly what they want.
To add product options:
- In the Product options window, click Add.
- In the Variants window, configure the following settings: SKU, check the box Managed Inventory, Allow Backorders, Inventory Kit, Price (based on the currencies offered).
IMPORTANT: To ensure the accuracy of the product's "Estimated Amount" when validating an order, it is imperative that an amount has been specified in the Price sections for each Currency and for each Region for all products.
- Click Publish.

Product organization
Organizing products allows you to highlight the most relevant and appealing items to your users. This ranking will affect the order of the variants in your storefront.

Product attributes
Attributes are key characteristics that improve search and navigation in your online store. With item filters based on these attributes, your customers can more quickly find the products that exactly match their needs.
For each product in your store, you can configure the following global characteristics:
Height: Enter the product height.
Width: Enter the product width.
Length: Enter the product length.
Weight: Enter the product weight. The current weight is one pound.
MID Code: Enter the product's MID (Manufacturer Identification Number).
HS Code: Enter the HS (Harmonized System) code, also known as the HS code, which is a code used by customs authorities for product classification.
Country of Origin: Enter the product's country of origin.
We recommend including these attributes in the description for now, as the unit selection is not yet available. However, you can enter them now so everything will be ready when the option becomes available.
