In addition to offering fixed shipping rates, you can offer custom rates based on the order subtotal.
You encourage customers to increase their cart value by offering reduced or even free shipping for orders over a certain amount.
To configure custom rates for your store:
- From your store's admin, go to Settings → General → Locations & Shipping.
- Choose the desired Location.
- Choose the desired Shipping option and click the three-dot icon on the right.
- Click Edit prices.
- In the window where shipping prices are displayed, choose the desired Currency.
- Click the Icon with two diagonally opposite arrows.
- In the Conditional prices for Price "X" window, you can manage rates based on conditions based on the cart subtotal.
To add a NEW price, click the Add Price button located at the bottom of your most recently configured price.
Example:
- If the total of items in the cart is between €1.00 and €50.00, the delivery price is €10.00.
- Delivery option price: €10.00
- Minimum total of items in the cart: €1.00
- Maximum total of items in the cart: €50.00
- If the total of items in the cart is between €51.00 and €100.00, the delivery price is €7.00.
- Delivery option price: €7.00
- Minimum total of items in the cart: €51.00
- Maximum total of items in the cart: €100.00
- If the total of items in the cart is ≥ €101.00, the delivery price is €0.00 (free delivery).
- Shipping option price: €0.00
- Minimum total of items in cart: €101.00
