By default, your subscription to the plan (and the one for your domain purchased with WebSelf) will automatically renew on the subscription anniversary date using the card registered in your payment profile.
- The card is, by default, the last card used for payment.
- If the card has expired since the last payment, the renewal will fail on the first attempt. The payment status will then be set to "Pending", with a second attempt three days later and a third attempt six days later. Only after the third failed payment attempt will the subscription be canceled.
- During the nine days between the first and third failed attempts, the system will automatically notify you of each failure through the email associated with your Webself account. You can then update your banking information before the next automated attempt.
To update your card information:
- Login to your Webself account.
- Go to the avatar tab located on the right side of the Dashboard, and click on the Billing and Payments sub-tab.
- Click on the gear icon on the plan's right side to access the subscription settings.
- Click on Update my card: this allows you to enter your new card's details.
- A window will appear; choose the option that suits you best: "Update payment method for:":
- This subscription only
- or All subscriptions.
- Click on Next
- Enter the new information for your card.
- Click on Save.
