With quick and easy setup, Stripe makes it easy to accept credit and debit card payments on your online store. Accept online payments on your store to simplify checkout for your customers.
Simply open a new Stripe account by filling out a short form or link your existing Stripe account to your online store.
NOTE:
Stripe uses two-factor authentication (2FA).
You should use an authenticator app like Google Authenticator to set up your Stripe account because it's an enhanced security measure, called two-factor authentication (2FA), that protects your account from unauthorized access. This method requires you to enter a unique code generated by the app, in addition to your password, to validate your login, which is more secure than SMS messages, which are vulnerable to hacking.
Stripe First Payment Wait Time
There is a 7-14 day waiting period for the first payment. This period is necessary to mitigate risks and **cannot be waived under any circumstances**. Any updates made to your payment method or schedule during this period will take effect after the waiting period has ended. Check your estimated payment frequency in the Dashboard section.
