Accurately managing your inventory (stock) allows you to avoid overselling products and facilitates replenishment before stock runs out.
When a product's stock level is "0," your product cannot be purchased online. The "Out of stock" caption will prevent your customer from purchasing the product.

You can set the stock quantity for each product in your store, and this will be automatically updated when a purchase is made.
Note:
It is not possible to edit the stock levels of all your products at once; you must do this individually, product by product.
Configure the stock quantity for a product and its variants
- From your store's admin, go to Products.
- Double-click on the Product line.
- The Product page displays.
- Scroll down to the Variants section.
- Check the Product box.
- A black button appears at the bottom; click the Edit stock Levels option.
Note:
If your product offers variants, check the Title box to edit all variants at once.
- Double-click on the name of your store's column, enable your Warehouse and enter the quantity of products you have in stock.
- Click Save.
- In the Product page go to the Variants section, in the In stock column, the quantity indicated is displayed.
Viewing the current stock of a product and its variants
- From your store's admin, go to Store → Products.
- Select the Product you wish to check the stock for.
- Click the three-dot icon, then click Edit.
- Go to the Variants section.
To view the number of products reserved for a variant
- Click the three-dot icon to the right of the Variant, then click Go to inventory item.
- The Locations section opens, where you can view the product's stock quantity and status: Reserved, In Stock, and Available.
Inventory tracking behaviour for a product variant
The Manage Inventory feature is enabled by default.
- When a customer orders a product variant and the order has the "Delivered" status, the stock is automatically reduced by the number of units ordered.
- When a customer orders the last unit of a product variant, the variant is marked "Out of Stock" on the product display in the store.
- When a customer orders the last unit of a product variant, the variant is still available in the store's administration until the product is shipped.
