You are able to export your entire catalog or individual products from your online shop. The data will be downloaded in the format of CSV files. Exporting is beneficial if you wish to revise existing products and categories through import, obtain your shop data in a tabular format for integration with third-party systems, for analytical purposes, etc.
You can export all your shop catalog data at once. The exported information will encompass all the available details on all the products and categories that exist in your shop, including names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, and more.
To export your entire catalog:
- From your shop admin, go to Catalog → Data Import & Export.
- Scroll down to the Export data section and click Export Catalog:
That’s it!
You can modify the file and import it back into your current shop to update existing products (feel free to remove the columns you don’t make changes to), import the file into another shop on our platform to create a catalog there (if you have more than one shop), or save the file as backup.
Exporting chosen products
Exporting data on individual products from your online shop is a useful feature. This enables you to have a comprehensive list of your product details in a format that you can utilize for various purposes, such as record-keeping, analysis, or integration with other tools.
Exported information includes all the available product details, including names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, and more.
To export individual products:
- From your shop admin, go to Catalog → Products.
- Click Filter in the upper left corner to apply filters, then select the products and click Export Selected:
You can also use the search field at the top of the product list and click Export All Found.
That’s it!
You can modify the file and import it back into your current shop to update existing products (feel free to remove the columns you don’t make changes to), import the file into another shop on our platform to create a catalog there (if you have more than one shop), or share it with your suppliers.
Viewing exported CSV files
You can view and modify CSV files that you export from your shop in any spreadsheet editor such as Google Sheets, Excel, or Numbers.
Generally, a comma is used as a delimiter in the CSV files that you export from your shop. However, if you select a comma as a decimal separator in Settings → General → Regional Settings → Price display format, the delimiter becomes a semicolon.
Prices, weights, dimensions, and option price modifiers in “%” all have the same decimal separator that you set in Settings → General → Regional Settings → Price display format.
