FAQ
Is it possible to utilize a payment platform that is not listed as supported?
Absolutely. If the desired payment platform is not listed above, you have the option to integrate it with your online store using the Add Payment Method API. You can either develop a customized integration yourself or enlist the services of a third-party professional for this task.
How can I modify the payment method name during checkout?
Often, when multiple online payment methods are added, they default to the same name, such as "Credit or debit card." Creating distinct payment method names facilitates efficient order management, allowing you to discern how each order was paid for, and filter orders accordingly.
To edit the payment method name:
- Navigate to Payment in your store admin.
- Locate the payment method you wish to modify.
- Click Actions, then select Edit.
- In the Appearance options tab, input the desired payment method name under Payment method name at checkout.
- Save your changes.
How can I arrange payment methods?
To encourage customers to use a particular payment method, you can prioritize its placement at the top of the list. This ensures it is preselected during checkout.
To adjust the order of payment methods displayed at checkout:
- Go to Payment in your store admin.
- Click Actions → Sort next to any payment method.
- Rearrange payment methods by dragging and dropping them into the desired order.
Your changes will be saved automatically.
