Here's an example of how the expanded filter panel would appear when a customer accesses your category:
To expand product filters:
- Navigate to Design.
- Scroll down to Storefront navigation & colors.
- In the Product filters section, select Expanded.
The changes will be saved automatically.
Utilizing filters to enhance sales
By activating product filters, you gain a versatile tool for enhancing your customers' shopping experience and increasing your sales effortlessly.
Filters in your store utilize an intelligent algorithm that:
- Indicates the number of products falling under each filter and updates this count each time a new filter is applied,
- Automatically conceals unavailable options as your products are sold out to prevent searches yielding zero results,
- Allows customers to select multiple options simultaneously for better product comparison.
With these features, your customers will appreciate the breadth of your catalog, as they can effortlessly navigate it and promptly discover products they desire.
When necessary, you can cater to a customer's specific needs by providing them with a link to a page containing pre-filtered results. For instance, you can provide a link to all Dresses in size L available in your store. To obtain such a link, navigate to the search page in your store, apply the necessary filters, and copy the link from your browser's address bar. Here's an example of such a link to dresses in size L: https://www.example.com/store/search?categories=20671019&keyword=dress&option_Size=Large.
